The SAStk Project
Written for Slackware Linux.
Slackware Administrators Security tool kit
Around the year 2000 Jeffery Denton, Doug Hogan and myself got together with the idea of creating a full set of hardening scripts for Slackware Linux.
We aimed to not only secure the system but to do it in a educational and informative manner that would help the administrator understand their system a little better
The project worked pretty well and was quite popular.
Unfortunately, (due to time contraints and family commitments) we were unable to keep following the steady pace of Slackware releases and the last supported release was Slackware-8.0
If you are interested in the work we did or would just like to go back in history a bit you'll find the official project page is still alive and can be seen here.
